The Permanent Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office, Policy and Coordination, Prof Faustine Kamuzora said this during the visit to the National Economic Empowerment Council (NEEC) for the first time since his appointment to the office.

He said other opportunities include the existence of 19 empowerment provident funds, financial institutions such as banks and a large domestic and international market.

The focus is to convert existing raw materials into value added products and meet the international standards acceptable quality for the local and international market.

He said the government through the council will continue to ensure that empowerment continues to be released in order to promote production that will foster number of taxpayers.
